NO SET-UP OR DIE CHARGES-As you look through this price list, keep in mind that the price you see is the price you pay. There are no additional set up or die charges as with many other companies. We think this method of pricing makes it very simple for you to see what your pins will cost without having to make complicated calculations to amortize set-up and die charges. Also standard fixtures are included in the price as noted. If you want special or additional fixtures, please refer to the Fixtures & Special Options section.

HOW TO DETERMINE SIZES- All prices are based on the longest side dimension of your pin or medallion. For example, a pin that measures 1-3/4 by 1-3/4 inches would be priced as a 1-3/4 inch size. Most companies base their prices on the diagonal measurement which in this case would be 2-1/2 inches and have a much higher price.

PRODUCTION TIME-We guarantee to ship your completed order of Poly-Kote, etched baked enamel or die stamped soft enamel items in just six weeks after we receive your artwork or you have approved artwork that we produce for you. Coin quality die stamped metal and cloisonne processes require eight to ten weeks production time. If you have a special rush need, we will always do our best to accommodate you and a rush charge may apply.

YOUR ARTWORK-We reproduce from black and white line artwork, where the black lines and lettering of your art will reproduce as the metal plate of the finished pins. If your design has colored type on a colored background you must use outline lettering. In the case of very small lettering, it will have to be reversed out of a solid metal plate area. Ideally your artwork should be 3 times the size of finished pins. At this size the finest line you could use should be the thickness of a #2-1/2 Rapidograph pen. Your artwork should have a tissue overlay with colors filled in as you want them. We suggest that you use pantone PMS color numbers to guide us. Look through this catalog and we are sure you will understand how to prepare artwork.

WE CAN PRODUCE THE ARTWORK FOR YOU- If you do not have camera ready artwork, our art department can create it for you. Just send us a sketch, drawing, logo, decal, letterhead or business card with instructions as to what you want and we will produce the finished art for you. There will be no charge for doing this.

PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLE- If you want to see a sample before production we can produce one for you at a cost of $75.00. Samples generally take about five weeks to produce. If your order is placed within 30 days of receiving sample, we will refund the sample charge if the order is 1000 or more pins.

ADDITIONAL COLORS- All prices are based on using four colors in addition to the metal plate of the pin. If your design has more than four colors, you can generally expect to be charged an additional 10% of pin price for each color more than four.

METAL PLATING- Different metal platings are available in various processes and these are listed in each category.

ALWAYS GIVE US YOUR DAYTIME PHONE NUMBER- When sending an order always include your daytime phone number so that we can contact you immediately if we have any questions about your order.

PRODUCT PACKAGING- All items are packed in a clear acetate bag with a stiffening card that makes for a neat appearing finished product. Products are then bagged in lots of either 50 or 100 per master bag for easy inventory.

PAYMENT TERMS- We require a deposit of 50% of total with order. Your completed order will be shipped via United Parcel Service C.O.D. for the balance plus shipping charges. To avoid C.O.D. charges, you can use either your MasterCard or Visa credit card. Order total will be billed to your card when you place order. The shipping charges will be billed to the credit card when the order is shipped. All shipments to Canada and other foreign countries must be paid in full with order with a check drawn on a United States bank. We cannot accept checks drawn on a foreign bank.

SHIPPING OF FINISHED ORDERS- Unless you can specify a different method, all orders are shipped via UPS Second Day Air service. Therefore, we must have a street address for all shipments. Prices do not include shipping and it will be charged at our cost plus a modest amount for packaging.

CONFIRMATION OF YOUR ORDER- Upon receipt of your order or upon your approval of artwork that we have had to generate, we will mail you an acknowledgment of your order; deposit and the latest date that we will ship your order. Normally if your order is completed before that date, we will go ahead and ship the order unless you tell us otherwise.

24 HOUR FAX MACHINE- Our Facsimile machine is automatic and available 24 hours a day to receive transmissions. Many customers find it useful to be able to fax us a design for quotation. If the fax transmission is good enough, we can often use this method of receiving your artwork for production immediately. The fax number is (818) 848-7302.
